Once upon a time, when the magic world was still
open to people, the earth was inhabited with strong
golden-eyed beautiful people. Their tribe lived on an
ocean island, far from wild unfriendly animals. Their
ancestors were travellers from another galaxy; their slim
bodies were tireless and they kept in mind the amazing
knowledge. They were tall, over two meters high, and
lived to be a thousand. The tribers worshipped the Moon
and honoured the Moon Princess called Iara that means
            Moon Love.
The Moon used to be quite different. The banks of
numerous channels were full of blooming gardens, the
air was charged with sweet smells and bird singing. Iara
was a daughter of Star Maar, a creator of galaxies, and
her beauty was able to revive the dead. I myself heard
the stones singing songs for the Moon Virgin in sight. Iara
loved going down to the ground and bathing in the ocean.
Once, out of water, she met a youth, a son of the tribe
leader, and flame of love arose in her heart. The youth,
Flamen by name, also fell in love with beautiful Iara and
loved her with all his heart.
The priests were against the marriage of a human
being and a magician, predicting great trouble, but the
lovers wouldn’t listen to them. Have there ever been any
lovers ready to follow advice, no matter how wise it could
be? LOVE, that’s what is of key importance for them.
Flamen married Iara and they settled in a small
comfortable palace on the shore of the ocean. Time
passed. Flamen was growing older and the tribers
