like the descendants of ancient plants that inhabited the forests
          of the Tertiary era. When the seeds spill out on the ground, the
          dry stems of the lily with the open capsules look very decorative
          and they are usually used in drawing up various panels of dried
          flowers.
               The flower received
          its unusual name in honor
          of Peter Petrovich Glen
          (1837-1876) - a famous
          researcher, scientist,
          florist-taxonomist,
          traveler.
               The  very  name  of
          the  plant  Cardiocrinum
          Glena (Lily Glena) comes
          from  the  Greek  words
          "cardio"  -  "heart"  and
          "cryon"  -  "lily",  i.e.
          "Heart-shaped lily".
          This original genus of the lily family is island-endemic.


               Reference:   the word "endemic", used in biology, refers to
          a  plant  or  animal  that  lives  only  in  one  specific  area  of  the
          world.
               Currently,  Cardiocrinum  Glena  is  included  in  the  Red
          Book  of  the  Russian  Federation  and  the  Red  Book  of  the
          Sakhalin Region.
               Cardiocrinum Glena is also famous for its rich history. In
          the  Ainu  language  it  was  called  "haru  ikkeu",  which  can  be
          translated as "edible spine."
               It is possible that the flower was one of the main plant food
          resources of the Ainu,  who in the past inhabited the territory of
