A tinyold lady lived in a village and she kept brood hens. Once, five
hens began to squeal at once, and the ald lady decided that one chicken
would be enough for the chickens. So Granny took it and put it on twenty-

one eggs. Soon the chickens hatched like little suns and ran around the
hut. The grandmother sent the chickens together with the chicken to run
around the yard. And in order not to run away, she tied the hen to the
post. But the hen tore the rope and flew over the fence, and the brood
of chickens hurried after it. And at this time a kite was watching them
from the side. The chicken noticed the enemy and, in order to protect the
children, rushed at it. But it was already all over, the light feathers were

slowly carried away by the wind. When Granny realized what happened,
she rushed in search, but everything was in vain. Only the yellow heads of
dandelions were glittering among the grass. Granny counted twenty-one
flowers and realized that innocent chicks had turned into sunny flowers.
